1 3/4 cup cake flour
1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
2   sticks unsalted butter, cut into cubes
4   large eggs
1 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

gSpoutastic Frosting:
2 sticks butter, room temperature
8 cups confectioners’ sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract or other flavoring

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line cupcake pans with paper liners; set aside.

Combine in a bowl both flours, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix on low speed until combined for about 3 minutes. Add in cubed butter, mixing until just coated with flour.

Add eggs 1 at a time until combined. Slowly add milk and vanilla to batter until completely mixed scraping down the bowl as you mix.

gSpout great idea Did you know the gSpout is wonderful for making risotto ?
gspout tip Bob from Kellyville told us the gSpout is a great help pouring off the excess juice from fruit salad
gspout trick We love using our gSpout to fill up our sugar holder...Mary in Kentucky
gSpout suggestion Freeze family-size portions of soups, stews, and sauces in empty cereal boxes for space-saving stackable storage. Line a box with a large zip-top freezer bag, folding the edges so that the box supports the bag when filled. Pour the soups, stew or sauce using the gSpout into the bag, seal and freeze vertically while inside the box. Once frozen, remove the filled bag from the box and stack horizontally. Downsize to smaller freezer bags and boxes for fewer servings. And remember, always use your gSpout ! No more mess and we love that easy clean up.

gSpout tip

Save sealable plastic jars or old coffee cans for disposing of old grease. Use the gSpout to safely and easily strain the oil from your cooked bacon or hamburger skillet.
gSpout trick Never pour oil down the drain. Even small amounts will eventually clog the plumbing.
gSpout idea If your gSpoutastic pancakes are not served immediately, lay them out in a single layer and cover them with a towel. If you stack hot pancakes, steam will form, making them limp and moist.
